The Arts

There is an excellent art gallary and museum in Estevan. There are many different exhibits that people can enjoy throughout the year.

During the summer the Souris Valley Museum is open featuring displays from the pioneering days and heritage mining equipment. The Souris Valley Theatre also performs two different productions every summer for the public to enjoy.

Estevan Art Gallery and Museum – Features exhibitions of local, regional, national and international importance, changing monthly. Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm, Weekends and holidays 1-3pm.

Souris Valley Museum – A historic Museum featuring artifacts from the pre-European period to the 1940s. Exhibits include the Schneller Schoolhouse (built in 1908), a homestead shack, and vehicle display. Open from Victoria Day to Labour Day weekends

Wood End Building – Built in 1893,the North West Mounted Police barracks are filled with artifacts from the early days of the pioneers and the RCMP (Open June to August)
